Only a Left Wing Fascist Would Think a Billionaire Who Gives Hundreds of Millions to fund Hospitals and the Arts is "UnAmerican"

Yet that's exactly how Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) has described the Koch Brothers!

If you're paying attention you know that the Koch brothers fund libertarian and conservative campaigns. They don't donate anywhere close to the hundreds of millions in big money contributions which flood the coffers of Harry Reid in support of lefty causes but never mind. Harry Reid doesn't like anyone who donates to Republicans and he isn't shy about saying so; over and over and over:

Reid: Koch brothers are "unAmeican."
Reid even blamed the Ukraine crisis on the Koch brothers.

These evil "unAmerican" Koch brothers also donated hundreds of millions to fund health care the arts and education. Instead of cheering and giving thanks, the usual suspects of liberal fascists protested:
Left wing fascists protest Koch brothers donations to build a hospital!
New York Post:
O the villainy!
We refer to David H. Koch. This awful businessman has given $100 million to help New York-Presbyterian Hospital build a state-of-the-art ambulatory care center.

Most New Yorkers likely regard such a donation as a tremendous act of charity. Not the New York State Nurses Association, SEIU Local 1199, the New York State NAACP or the Working Families Party. On Saturday, they protested outside both the hospital and David Koch’s apartment.

This is not David Koch’s first provocation. Since 2000, he has given away more than $629 million to more than three dozen New York City institutions ranging from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the American Ballet Theater to Lincoln Center, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Columbia University. In short, many New Yorkers have had their lives enriched by David Koch’s munificence, and some may even have had their lives saved.
The protestors don’t care. Because the vituperation directed at the Koch brothers is a deliberate strategy for this year’s mid-term elections, not least to distract voters from the massive failure for which Democrats have no good answers: ObamaCare.

Thus we have Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid denouncing the brothers as “un-American.” Thus, too, we saw Bill de Blasio standing silently by only a few months ago when Harry Belefonte likened the Koch brothers to the Ku Klux Klan. Doubtless worse is to come.
Last time I checked the Ku Klux Klan wasn't building hospitals and funding the arts but perhaps they started and no one told me? Perhaps what has really got these nuts upset is that the Koch brothers follow the traditional American path of sharing and helping others outside of government sponsored programs.

Hate is hate and fools are fools and you'll find both on the left in abundance. Only hating fascist fools could object to building hospitals and supporting the arts and education.
