A Sad but Illuminating Conversation on Race w/ a Young Black Witness to a Murder

It was easier for him to blame the phantom of white racism than to connect the dots with cultural worship of gun violence among black youth!

I hired a young black guy to help me with some work this week. He was having a bad day as the weekend before he watched as an acquaintance died in front of him from gunshot wounds.

He blamed white racists on the Police and ambulance for being so slow to respond though it's unlikely they could have saved the fatally injured man who suffered multiple gun shots including a shot to the head.

I pointed out that it wasn't a white man who pulled the trigger nor likely sold the gun. I then asked why do so many black men kill other black men. He looked at me like I was from the Moon. He didn't understand the question.

I pointed out that 90% of the murders of black men were by other black men. It's not my opinion, it's a fact from FBI crime statistics.

It's an older graphic but the rates haven't changed much:

My young acquaintance refused to accept these facts. Instead he pointed to television images of whites marching in Charlottesville, Virginia as proof that whites want to kill blacks. It didn't help when I pointed out that no blacks died in Charlottesville as a result of those protests.

I came back to the question of why young black men are killing other black men. He refused to discuss it and instead insisted on turning up his music. That's where it got revealing. The rap music that he was playing was mostly about shooting other black men for one reason or another.

He was unable to absorb how this cultural factor glorifying gun murder might be a factor. Far easier to blame some far off phantom of white racists. But before we left the conversation I made it clear again that it wasn't white people pulling the trigger.

Today, Saturday, my acquaintance will attend the funeral. He seemed more concerned with what he will wear than why this was happening.

Those who are selling young blacks a tale of racial grievance and ignoring the obvious cultural factor are to blame for the genocide we see in places like Chicago and even the small black communities around the country. There are some in the black community who are aware of the true nature of the problem, but sadly, many are not. They are easily distracted by the siren song of white racism. So, the slaughter will continue.

Thank you NFL players for totally missing the point. But then, you're only doing what you were told!

Rep. Scalise Returns to Congress: Survived Assassination Attempt by Left Wing Shooter Proving Faith TRUMPS Hate!

Watch!

"Miracles Do Happen."

Rep. Scalise went on to thank the U.S. Capitol Police Officers who saved his life that day. "You are my hero" as Rep. Scalise pointed to the Chamber gallery where Officer David Bailey was standing.

My tax plan: 80% tax on NFL Players & Owners. #BoycottTheNFL #PunchThemInTheWallet #BoycottNFLSponsors

My tax plan: 80% tax on NFL players&owners. Use money to fund programs to end gang violence that kills thousands of inner city blacks yearly!

And how about this?

Perhaps when those overpaid jocks protesting how rotten America is are forced to take a pay cut they will appreciate their PRIVILEGE!

P.S. Chris Kyle Widow: It's the NFL that is dividing America!

The idea that Trump is somehow dividing America over the NFL issue is absurd. It's the NFL players and team owners who are doing that. Read the Facebook posting of American Sniper widow Taya Kyle:
Your desire to focus on division and anger has shattered what many people loved most about the sport. Football was really a metaphor for our ideal world –different backgrounds, talents, political beliefs and histories as one big team with one big goal - to do well, to win, TOGETHER.

You are asking us to abandon what we loved about togetherness and make choices of division. Will we stand with you? Will we stand with our flag? What does it mean? What does it mean if we buy a ticket or NFL gear? What does it mean if we don’t? It is the polar opposite of the easy togetherness we once loved in football.

It was simple – we loved you and you loved us – with all of our races, religions, different backgrounds and politics. Simplicity in a crazy world was pretty awesome.

You dear NFL, have taken that. You have lost me here.

Libs Who Attacked Tim Tebow and Christians for Expressing Their Beliefs Honor Instead Players Who Disrespect America

Funny how it's ok to dump on your country but it's not OK to show you love it!

Remember how the left trashed football star Tim Tebow? (1,2,3) He dared to express his Christian beliefs and was told by liberal Bill Press and others to "STFU!"

And what about Joe Kennedy, the football coach in Washington State fired from his job for praying at the 50 yard line?

Let's not forget the Dallas Cowboys players who were refused permission to express solidarity for the police massacred in their city when they requested to place a decal on their helmets.

But apparently it's OK to violate NFL rules requiring players to STAND during the National Anthem!

What's worse is that the same left wingers pushing their disrespect America message claim that President Trump is "divisive" for attacking the players that engage in this un-American behavior. Please. These overpaid jocks have been doing this long before Trump came on the scene.

These players are attacking the flag and the Anthem which are symbols of American unity. And they are doing so on the basis of race. It's the most divisive act imaginable!

If NFL players and some owners want to violate NFL rules and continue this divisive and outrageous behavior then they have only themselves to blame if fans continue to BURN their overpriced football memorabilia and boycott the games. Perhaps if these whiners get a pay cut down to what cops make they might learn their lesson!

Afghan President "Salutes" Trump for "Courage and Determination." New Strategy "Difference of Night and Day" Over Failed Obama Plan

One by one, nearly every American ally has taken heart by the change from the failures of the previous eight years!

From bilateral meeting meeting with Trump at the United Nations last week President Ghani of Afghanistan said this:
PRESIDENT GHANI: Mr. President, first of all, I'd like to pay tribute to American soldiers, officers, and civilians, particularly those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. That sacrifice can now result in a stable Afghanistan.

I want to thank you on behalf of the people of Afghanistan, the government of Afghanistan for making a decision that is historic. You asked very fundamental questions. You made this decision on the basis of courage and determination. We salute your courage.

Since the decision, there's been an immense change on the ground. I've been to six of our seven army corps, and they all greet you, and the people of the United States, and the American soldiers and officers who fought shoulder-to-shoulder with them. It's a difference of day and night.

The cloud of uncertainty has been lifted, but equally important is your commitment to a political solution at the end of this process. What we want to assure the American people is that there's not going to be a combat role. You've made that crystal clear, and we are committed to make sure it's the Afghan people, the Afghan soldiers, the Afghan officers who will take the burden of responsibility.

The modest additional troops that have been sent are to enhance the assist, support, advice mission, and that is playing a very crucial role. Victory -- political and military-wise -- is within our sight.

And I'd like to thank you for the thoroughness of the review and especially for ordering that all instruments of American power -- military, diplomatic, and economic -- are brought together in a coherent plan of action to lift Afghanistan out of 40 years of crisis, and to make it a platform for stability and prosperity.

And because of this, we equally, Mr. President, understand and fully endorse the concept that you use. We do not ask for a blank check. We are determined to do what is ours -- fight corruption; ensure that there’s no waste of resources; full accountability for the results; and significant momentum so that the American people can know that, under your wise leadership, the results that were not within grasp will now be achieved.

Thank you, Mr. President.
And modest progress in the long neglected problem of North Korea. Moments after President Trump threatened to cut off ties with financial institutions that do business with North Korea, China's central bank ordered a stop of all transactions with the rogue regime. That's more progress in Trump's eight months in office than Obama achieved in eight years!

Reaganesque: Trump Takes The Gloves Off at United Nations with Tour de Force Speech

Not a single apology in sight. Time to make the U.N. great!

If conservative Trump voters had any qualms about Trump going squishy on foreign policy those doubts were laid to rest on Tuesday with President Trump's triumph at the United Nations. Everything that has been missing from a U.S. President speaking to the world body over the last eight years was served up in a direct and forceful speech to the organization that represents a betrayal of it's founding ideals and principles.

The world's bad guys, led by North Korea, Iran and Venezuela have rarely heard such uncompromising, no nonsense language in that arena. Ironically, Venezuela, one leg of the stool of evil Trump took head on criticized him for being too much like Ronald Reagan. Little does the dictatorial regime down south understand how good that sounds to an AMERICAN audience!

But Trump's speech not only channeled the spirit of Ronald Reagan, others likened the address to the style of Harry Truman or Andrew Jackson. But I like the Reagan comparison best.

Excerpt's of President Trump's remarks:
TRUMP: We live in a time of extraordinary opportunity. Breakthroughs in science, technology, and medicine are curing illnesses and solving problems that prior generations thought impossible to solve.

But each day also brings news of growing dangers that threaten everything we cherish and value. Terrorists and extremists have gathered strength and spread to every region of the planet. Rogue regimes represented in this body not only support terrorists but threaten other nations and their own people with the most destructive weapons known to humanity.

Authority and authoritarian powers seek to collapse the values, the systems, and alliances that prevented conflict and tilted the world toward freedom since World War II.

International criminal networks traffic drugs, weapons, people; force dislocation and mass migration; threaten our borders; and new forms of aggression exploit technology to menace our citizens.

To put it simply, we meet at a time of both of immense promise and great peril. It is entirely up to us whether we lift the world to new heights, or let it fall into a valley of disrepair.

We have it in our power, should we so choose, to lift millions from poverty, to help our citizens realize their dreams, and to ensure that new generations of children are raised free from violence, hatred, and fear.

This institution was founded in the aftermath of two world wars to help shape this better future. It was based on the vision that diverse nations could cooperate to protect their sovereignty, preserve their security, and promote their prosperity.
...
To overcome the perils of the present and to achieve the promise of the future, we must begin with the wisdom of the past. Our success depends on a coalition of strong and independent nations that embrace their sovereignty to promote security, prosperity, and peace for themselves and for the world.

We do not expect diverse countries to share the same cultures, traditions, or even systems of government. But we do expect all nations to uphold these two core sovereign duties: to respect the interests of their own people and the rights of every other sovereign nation. This is the beautiful vision of this institution, and this is foundation for cooperation and success.

Strong, sovereign nations let diverse countries with different values, different cultures, and different dreams not just coexist, but work side by side on the basis of mutual respect.

Strong, sovereign nations let their people take ownership of the future and control their own destiny. And strong, sovereign nations allow individuals to flourish in the fullness of the life intended by God.

In America, we do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example for everyone to watch. This week gives our country a special reason to take pride in that example. We are celebrating the 230th anniversary of our beloved Constitution -- the oldest constitution still in use in the world today.

This timeless document has been the foundation of peace, prosperity, and freedom for the Americans and for countless millions around the globe whose own countries have found inspiration in its respect for human nature, human dignity, and the rule of law.

The greatest in the United States Constitution is its first three beautiful words. They are: “We the people.”
...
Generations of Americans have sacrificed to maintain the promise of those words, the promise of our country, and of our great history. In America, the people govern, the people rule, and the people are sovereign. I was elected not to take power, but to give power to the American people, where it belongs.

In foreign affairs, we are renewing this founding principle of sovereignty. Our government's first duty is to its people, to our citizens -- to serve their needs, to ensure their safety, to preserve their rights, and to defend their values.

As President of the United States, I will always put America first, just like you, as the leaders of your countries will always, and should always, put your countries first. (Applause.)

All responsible leaders have an obligation to serve their own citizens, and the nation-state remains the best vehicle for elevating the human condition.

But making a better life for our people also requires us to work together in close harmony and unity to create a more safe and peaceful future for all people.

The United States will forever be a great friend to the world, and especially to its allies. But we can no longer be taken advantage of, or enter into a one-sided deal where the United States gets nothing in return. As long as I hold this office, I will defend America’s interests above all else.
...
If we desire to lift up our citizens, if we aspire to the approval of history, then we must fulfill our sovereign duties to the people we faithfully represent. We must protect our nations, their interests, and their futures. We must reject threats to sovereignty, from the Ukraine to the South China Sea. We must uphold respect for law, respect for borders, and respect for culture, and the peaceful engagement these allow. And just as the founders of this body intended, we must work together and confront together those who threaten us with chaos, turmoil, and terror.

The scourge of our planet today is a small group of rogue regimes that violate every principle on which the United Nations is based. They respect neither their own citizens nor the sovereign rights of their countries.

If the righteous many do not confront the wicked few, then evil will triumph. When decent people and nations become bystanders to history, the forces of destruction only gather power and strength.
...
No one has shown more contempt for other nations and for the wellbeing of their own people than the depraved regime in North Korea. It is responsible for the starvation deaths of millions of North Koreans, and for the imprisonment, torture, killing, and oppression of countless more.

We were all witness to the regime's deadly abuse when an innocent American college student, Otto Warmbier, was returned to America only to die a few days later. We saw it in the assassination of the dictator's brother using banned nerve agents in an international airport. We know it kidnapped a sweet 13-year-old Japanese girl from a beach in her own country to enslave her as a language tutor for North Korea's spies.

If this is not twisted enough, now North Korea's reckless pursuit of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles threatens the entire world with unthinkable loss of human life.
...
The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea. Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime. The United States is ready, willing and able, but hopefully this will not be necessary. That’s what the United Nations is all about; that’s what the United Nations is for. Let’s see how they do.
...
The Iranian government masks a corrupt dictatorship behind the false guise of a democracy. It has turned a wealthy country with a rich history and culture into an economically depleted rogue state whose chief exports are violence, bloodshed, and chaos. The longest-suffering victims of Iran's leaders are, in fact, its own people.

Rather than use its resources to improve Iranian lives, its oil profits go to fund Hezbollah and other terrorists that kill innocent Muslims and attack their peaceful Arab and Israeli neighbors. This wealth, which rightly belongs to Iran's people, also goes to shore up Bashar al-Assad's dictatorship, fuel Yemen's civil war, and undermine peace throughout the entire Middle East.

We cannot let a murderous regime continue these destabilizing activities while building dangerous missiles, and we cannot abide by an agreement if it provides cover for the eventual construction of a nuclear program. (Applause.) The Iran Deal was one of the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into. Frankly, that deal is an embarrassment to the United States, and I don’t think you’ve heard the last of it -- believe me.

It is time for the entire world to join us in demanding that Iran's government end its pursuit of death and destruction. It is time for the regime to free all Americans and citizens of other nations that they have unjustly detained. And above all, Iran's government must stop supporting terrorists, begin serving its own people, and respect the sovereign rights of its neighbors.
...
We seek the de-escalation of the Syrian conflict, and a political solution that honors the will of the Syrian people. The actions of the criminal regime of Bashar al-Assad, including the use of chemical weapons against his own citizens -- even innocent children -- shock the conscience of every decent person. No society can be safe if banned chemical weapons are allowed to spread. That is why the United States carried out a missile strike on the airbase that launched the attack.
...
The United States is a compassionate nation and has spent billions and billions of dollars in helping to support this effort. We seek an approach to refugee resettlement that is designed to help these horribly treated people, and which enables their eventual return to their home countries, to be part of the rebuilding process.

For the cost of resettling one refugee in the United States, we can assist more than 10 in their home region. Out of the goodness of our hearts, we offer financial assistance to hosting countries in the region, and we support recent agreements of the G20 nations that will seek to host refugees as close to their home countries as possible. This is the safe, responsible, and humanitarian approach.
...
We also thank -- (applause) -- we also thank the Secretary General for recognizing that the United Nations must reform if it is to be an effective partner in confronting threats to sovereignty, security, and prosperity. Too often the focus of this organization has not been on results, but on bureaucracy and process.

In some cases, states that seek to subvert this institution's noble aims have hijacked the very systems that are supposed to advance them. For example, it is a massive source of embarrassment to the United Nations that some governments with egregious human rights records sit on the U.N. Human Rights Council.

The United States is one out of 193 countries in the United Nations, and yet we pay 22 percent of the entire budget and more. In fact, we pay far more than anybody realizes. The United States bears an unfair cost burden, but, to be fair, if it could actually accomplish all of its stated goals, especially the goal of peace, this investment would easily be well worth it.
...
The American people hope that one day soon the United Nations can be a much more accountable and effective advocate for human dignity and freedom around the world. In the meantime, we believe that no nation should have to bear a disproportionate share of the burden, militarily or financially. Nations of the world must take a greater role in promoting secure and prosperous societies in their own regions.
...
We have also imposed tough, calibrated sanctions on the socialist Maduro regime in Venezuela, which has brought a once thriving nation to the brink of total collapse.

The socialist dictatorship of Nicolas Maduro has inflicted terrible pain and suffering on the good people of that country. This corrupt regime destroyed a prosperous nation by imposing a failed ideology that has produced poverty and misery everywhere it has been tried. To make matters worse, Maduro has defied his own people, stealing power from their elected representatives to preserve his disastrous rule.

The Venezuelan people are starving and their country is collapsing. Their democratic institutions are being destroyed. This situation is completely unacceptable and we cannot stand by and watch.

As a responsible neighbor and friend, we and all others have a goal. That goal is to help them regain their freedom, recover their country, and restore their democracy. I would like to thank leaders in this room for condemning the regime and providing vital support to the Venezuelan people.

The United States has taken important steps to hold the regime accountable. We are prepared to take further action if the government of Venezuela persists on its path to impose authoritarian rule on the Venezuelan people.
...
I ask every country represented here today to be prepared to do more to address this very real crisis. We call for the full restoration of democracy and political freedoms in Venezuela. (Applause.)

The problem in Venezuela is not that socialism has been poorly implemented, but that socialism has been faithfully implemented. (Applause.) From the Soviet Union to Cuba to Venezuela, wherever true socialism or communism has been adopted, it has delivered anguish and devastation and failure. Those who preach the tenets of these discredited ideologies only contribute to the continued suffering of the people who live under these cruel systems.
...
The true question for the United Nations today, for people all over the world who hope for better lives for themselves and their children, is a basic one: Are we still patriots? Do we love our nations enough to protect their sovereignty and to take ownership of their futures? Do we revere them enough to defend their interests, preserve their cultures, and ensure a peaceful world for their citizens?
...
The United States of America has been among the greatest forces for good in the history of the world, and the greatest defenders of sovereignty, security, and prosperity for all.

Now we are calling for a great reawakening of nations, for the revival of their spirits, their pride, their people, and their patriotism.

History is asking us whether we are up to the task. Our answer will be a renewal of will, a rediscovery of resolve, and a rebirth of devotion. We need to defeat the enemies of humanity and unlock the potential of life itself.

Our hope is a word and -- world of proud, independent nations that embrace their duties, seek friendship, respect others, and make common cause in the greatest shared interest of all: a future of dignity and peace for the people of this wonderful Earth.

This is the true vision of the United Nations, the ancient wish of every people, and the deepest yearning that lives inside every sacred soul.

So let this be our mission, and let this be our message to the world: We will fight together, sacrifice together, and stand together for peace, for freedom, for justice, for family, for humanity, and for the almighty God who made us all.

Thank you. God bless you. God bless the nations of the world. And God bless the United States of America. Thank you very much. (Applause.)
Can anyone imagine Obama or Hillary giving that speech? It's about time someone held the UN's feet to the fire before we all get burned and Trump did it.

For the past eight years problems around the world were left to fester. We're now witnessing the bitter harvest of Obama's indifference and incompetence. But thank GOD there's a new Sheriff in town!

Stunning Video: Nancy Pelosi Shouted Down by Left Protesters Screaming "LIAR"

For conservatives worried about Trump meeting with Pelosi and Schumer this was worth the price of admission!

Hecklers shout "LIAR, LIAR, LIAR" while shouting down the former House Speaker after she met with Trump to work out a deal on illegal immigrants.

Now screeching left wing fascists are eating their own. Isn't it wonderful!

Why Aren't Dems Concerned with Russian Election Interference Concerned with Illegal Out of State Voting in New Hampshire Where Hillary Won by Narrow Margin?

Another reason why we need a national commission to study voting integrity!

Hillary Clinton won the state of New Hampshire in the 2016 general election by 2701 votes. Had the election been closer New Hampshire's 4 Electoral College votes might have been enough to put her over the top.

Just to make sure that was a possibility, busloads of illegal out of state voters showed up to vote.

From the Washington Times:
More than 6,500 people registered to vote in New Hampshire on Nov. 8 using out-of-state driver’s licenses, and since then the vast majority have neither obtained an in-state license nor registered a motor vehicle.

Conservatives say the state’s same-day registration is an invitation for fraud because of loose proof-of-residence rules.

Since Election Day, Republicans have charged that a significant number of nonresident Democrats, principally from Massachusetts, flowed into New Hampshire to vote illegally, tilting a close race to their party.

“Having worked before on a campaign in New Hampshire, I can tell you that this issue of busing voters into New Hampshire is widely known by anyone who’s worked in New Hampshire politics. It’s very real. It’s very serious. This morning, on this show, is not the venue for me to lay out all the evidence,” White House policy adviser Stephen Miller told ABC News in February.

Though Mr. Jasper’s findings don’t prove those accusations, they do corroborate them. The numbers read this way:

⦁ 6,540 people registered and voted on Nov. 8, based on presenting out-of-state licenses.
⦁ As of Aug. 30, about 15 percent (1,014 of the voters) had been issued New Hampshire driver’s licenses.
⦁ Οf the remaining 5,526, barely more than 200 (3.3 percent) had registered a motor vehicle in New Hampshire.

New Hampshire law gives drivers 60 days upon establishing residence to obtain a state license. But more than 80 percent of voters who registered on Nov. 8 using out-of-state driver’s licenses, or 5,313 of them, neither had a state license nor registered a motor vehicle almost 10 months later.

Double voting is illegal, and 196 people are being investigated for casting ballots in New Hampshire and in other states. In the presidential race, Democrat Hillary Clinton defeated Republican Donald Trump in New Hampshire by 2,736 votes.

In an even tighter race, for the Granite State’s U.S. Senate seat, Democratic challenger Maggie Hassan defeated incumbent Republican Kelly Ayotte by 1,017 votes.
So, not only is it likely that Hillary Clinton stole the New Hampshire presidential election but a Senate seat was also stolen!
Robert Knight:This is not a recipe for vote fraud; it’s a fully baked cake.

And the problem isn't limited to New Hampshire. Thousands of illegal aliens were found to be voting in Virginia. Also, 141 counties across the country have more voters registered than the population living in the county.

So why do the same Democrats so concerned with Russian tampering oppose investigations into other voting irregularities? You don't need me to answer that one do you?

Mike's America Out of Hurricane Danger Zone

Friday evening storm forecast track from the National Hurricane Center. Mike's America on the coast along the South Carolina and Georgia border is no longer in extreme danger.

An interesting set of online hurricane forecast modeling tools is available here. The following is a map of model forecasts I created with the site.

Won't our liberal friends be disappointed Mike's America's garden will get some welcome rain but not the wrath of god they imagine?  What about Jennifer Lawrence blaming Trump for hurricanes Harvey and Irma?

Did Obama Admin. Hide Report Declaring Left Wing Fascists Antifa as a Terrorist Organization? When Will Obama/Hilary Condemn?

Why is the same liberal media that demanded Trump repeatedly denounce KKK and neo Nazis not asking Obama, Hillary and Dems to do the same?

From Politico:
Previously unreported documents disclose that by April 2016, authorities believed that “anarchist extremists” were the primary instigators of violence at public rallies against a range of targets. They were blamed by authorities for attacks on the police, government and political institutions, along with symbols of “the capitalist system,” racism, social injustice and fascism, according to a confidential 2016 joint intelligence assessment by DHS and the FBI.
...
Even before Charlottesville, dozens and, in some cases, hundreds of people on both sides showed up at events in Texas, California, Oregon and elsewhere, carrying weapons and looking for a fight. In the Texas capital of Austin, armed antifa protesters attacked Trump supporters and white groups at several recent rallies, and then swarmed police in a successful effort to stop them from making arrests.
It's apparently only a secret to the liberal media that most of the violent left wing protesters who show up at these events are from out of state. 93% of those arrested for rioting in Ferguson, Missouri were from out of state. 70% out of state from last year's riots in North Carolina.

In the wake of the Charlottesville tragedy, conservatives across the country spoke in unison to condemn violence by the KKK and neo Nazis. While we affirm their right to protest, they have no right to violent protests. Left wing extremists at this blog and elsewhere have largely refused to do the same. One commenter here at Mike's America insisted that Antifa fascists had the right to "protect" their communities. But these violent fascists are NOT members of the local communities. Neither are the left wing fascist fanatics who are pulling down statues.

Trump was attacked because he did not denounce the KKK and neo Nazis fast enough. So, when will Hillary and Obama condemn Antifa? Who is funding these left wing terror groups? Why not appoint a special prosecutor to find out?

And any who comment here attacking Trump but cannot condemn Antifa terror groups is as guilty as the KKK and neo Nazis!

Democrats Threaten to Shut Government if No Amnesty for DACA Dreamers: Imagine the Howling if Trump Insisted on His Agenda?

And you can bet Dems will shut the government if DACA amnesty includes funding for the wall to close the open border!

You know that when Republicans threaten to shut the government if they don't get their way on A,B or C Dems go ballistic and threaten Armageddon. So, where's the same media that plays into that narrative when Dems threaten to shut the government if they don't get every silly thing THEY want?
Democrats threaten to hold up debt ceiling vote without DACA, health insurance fixes
Washington Examiner
by Susan Ferrechio | Sep 6, 2017,

House and Senate Democrats said Wednesday they will not vote for a debt ceiling increase longer than three months, threatening to derail a long-term plan to raise the nation's borrowing limit by a Sept. 30 deadline as well as an emergency federal funding package for Hurricane Harvey that is to be linked to it.

Democrats are demanding their own wish list items in exchange for their vote, which is needed due to conservative backlash over debt limit increases.

House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., told the Washington Examiner the Democrats' proposal for a three-month extension is "ridiculous and disgraceful," and "unworkable."

He suggested the limit would be lifted for longer than three months. Ryan condemned the move.

"To play politics with the debt ceiling like Schumer and Pelosi are apparently doing, I don't think is a good idea," he said.

The Democrats' list includes legislation to legalize people brought to the United States illegally as children, as well as federal funding to bolster the failing Obamacare health insurance marketplace.
So, Dems demand everything THEY WANT OR ELSE! Imagine if Trump did that!

Trump Comforts Hurricane Victims & Delivers Aide While Left Wing Groups Divert Money from Victims for Political Causes

Even at a time of dire emergency the left still thinks of three things: politics, power and money!

Here is what Trump was doing in Houston on Saturday:

Meanwhile, here's what the political left was doing:

Left-wing activists launch ‘No Red Cross’ campaign, ask for donor dollars

Activists are discouraging Hurricane Harvey donors from giving to the American Red Cross and urging them instead to contribute to left-wing causes, some of which are advocacy groups engaged in little if any emergency relief work.

Linda Sarsour, a prominent Muslim and feminist activist, sent out a tweet encouraging donors to give to the Texas Organizing Project Education Fund, which conducts “direct action organizing, grass-roots lobbying and electoral organizing led by working families in Texas.”

“TOP is one of many organizations on this list you can choose to support,” Ms. Sarsour said in a Wednesday tweet that included the #NoRedCross hashtag. “Grassroots orgs on ground. Long term needed.”
Dissing the Red Cross and other actual relief agencies in a naked bid to divert money to left wing political activism has to be a new low even for the fascist left!
